Bowers Group closes a successful MACH Week with optimism for the future

Bowers Group has reported a roaring success at this year’s MACH 2026 exhibition in Birmingham, with a high number of visitors showing a keen interest in measurement innovations that offer a clear focus on improving accuracy, efficiency and reliability in day-to-day operations.

The success of the event also emphasises the resilience of the UK manufacturing sector, with a continued appetite for investment in practical, performance-driven solutions that offer a competitive edge.

Ryan Kingswell, Sales Director at Bowers Group, commented: “We were extremely encouraged by the buoyancy of the show and the number of visitors to the Bowers Group stand this year. It was great to see UK manufacturing continuing to perform despite economic headwinds, and the overall positivity across the industry.”

The group welcomed a strong flow of visitors throughout the exhibition, using the opportunity to deliver hands-on demonstrations, hold detailed technical discussions and gather direct feedback from customers across a wide range of industries.

MACH continues to provide a valuable setting to showcase real-world applications and help visitors better understand how measurement solutions can improve accuracy, efficiency and consistency in practice.

The newly launched Bowers thread measuring sets attracted much interest, with many manufacturers looking for ways to improve accuracy and efficiency in their inspection processes. Visitors were particularly interested in how the sets simplify thread measurement and deliver consistent results across different applications.

The Baty FV-5040 floor-standing vision system also drew significant attention, particularly from those working with larger components. Its capability for handling larger measurement tasks, combined with ease of use, made it a practical option for improving inspection processes.

In addition, the launch of the Moore & Wright advanced testing instruments gained strong interest, particularly during live demonstrations. Visitors were impressed at their ability to deliver fast, accurate and repeatable results, with straightforward operation suited to a wide range of day-to-day inspection tasks.

The overall response at MACH was encouraging, reflecting a sector that continues to move forward with confidence and a clear sense of direction, despite wider economic and political challenges. Bowers Group would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit the stand and be part of the conversations throughout the week. With plenty to build on, the team is already looking ahead with optimism, and with exciting plans already in motion for MACH 2028.
