Innovative product launches at Advanced Engineering 2024
Advanced Engineering, now only a week away, has gathered information on what its exhibitors will be launching when the doors open at the NEC, Birmingham on October 30-31, 2024. With only a few weeks to go, exhibitors are gearing up to showcase the very best in advanced engineering and manufacturing technology, with innovations spanning across industries including aerospace, automotive, renewable energy and digital manufacturing.
Among the highlights is Mark3D UK Limited, an Industrial equipment supplier, which will draw in drone and robotics enthusiasts with cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies. The company is presenting a suite of Markforged 3D printers, alongside their UAV Sensus Drone and the Robo Challenge BattleBot ‘Spectre’.
R&D company RVmagnetics is another, introducing their MicroWire sensors — the world’s smallest contactless passive sensors capable of measuring multiple physical properties such as temperature, mechanical stress, torsion and magnetic fields. These advanced sensors offer real-time data readouts and are highly versatile, being resistant to harsh environments.
In addition, MAPAL, a leading technology partner for machining aluminium components, will debut their innovative cutting tools for 2024. This will feature the OptiMill-Alu-Wave and NeoMill-Alu-QBig, designed to push the limits of precision and efficiency in aluminium machining.
Elsewhere Armstrong Composites, a specialist in the manufacture of metal and composite components, will unveil their Visual A-Class composite components. These demonstrate high aesthetic and performance standards for industries such as aerospace and automotive.
SciMed Ltd, a leading supplier of scientific instrumentation in the UK and Ireland, will also be showcasing their SEC-Alpha benchtop Scanning Electron Microscope, alongside the Bowman XRF G-Series and P-Series plating thickness analysers. These are a must-see for professionals working with precision measurements and material analysis.
Additionally, the UK-based award-winning animation studio Animated Technologies promises to captivate visitors with a VR headset. The headset offers a hyper-realistic experience of their bespoke VR and AR marketing apps, along with a 10 per cent discount for attendees who sign up for a meeting during the show.
“No matter what you’re looking for, Advanced Engineering has something for everyone,” said Alison Willis, CEO of Easyfairs UK & Global, the organiser of Advanced Engineering. “With a range of forums, the innovations on show will help to keep the industry and visitors up to date on the latest trends and challenges.
“We recently introduced a fresh look with a cross-industry floor layout that allows for a more diverse range of exhibitors from sectors such as marine, motorsport, construction, medical, rail and sport. As a result, Advanced Engineering will be a platform to showcase the latest demonstrations from innovative exhibitors, providing a glimpse into the future of technology and industry applications.”
