On Stand 330 in Hall 6 at MACH 2024, Kerf Developments will present its most diverse and expansive range of products with two MACH show premieres. The new MACH show debutants will be complemented with automated cutting and welding solutions from technical partner Lincoln Electric.

The showstopper will undoubtedly be the new LINC-CUT Fiber 1530A fiber laser machine. Brand new for MACH, the Rochdale specialist for oxy/fuel, plasma, waterjet and fiber laser will introduce the LINC-CUT Fiber 1530A alongside the new Kerf Ultra, a new machine that provides both oxy/fuel and plasma cutting in a single machine solution. The LINC-CUT Fiber 1530A from Lincoln Electric is a machine designed to produce the best cutting quality with linear guidance, dynamic kinematics, helical drives, rigidity and precision that is the benchmark of the industry.

Kerf Developments is proud to work with Lincoln Electric, the world’s leading cutting and welding manufacturer to bring this technology to the UK. Available as a 3kW, 6kW or 12kw machine initially with a 3m by 1.5m or 4m by 2m bed, the LINC-CUT Fiber 1530A perfectly synchronises the laser cutting and axis movements to deliver unsurpassed precision, repeatability and cutting speed. This is assured by an auto-focus laser head with automatic gas and cutting height calibration that delivers optimum repeatability and a compact laser source with fiber core diameter of 75μm for superior cutting quality.

The exciting new arrival also incorporates a state-of-the-art CNC system that integrates with two surveillance cameras to control and monitor all machine operations. With drawing software and automated nesting, the innovative control system includes a database of parameters for all material types and thicknesses. Further innovations include the Flycut, Fast-Cutting, Smooth Microjoint, Frame Border, Circle Centring and Collision Avoidance that enhance productivity and cutting speed, provide contouring of fine parts as well as the ability to hold and process small parts securely. With rapid axis movements of 110m/min, and positional accuracy of 0.03mm, the LINC-CUT Fiber 1530A will provide a fascinating insight into the future of fiber laser cutting at MACH.

Alongside the LINC-CUT Fiber 1530A will be the new Kerf Ultra, a machine that provides both oxy/fuel and plasma cutting in a single machine solution. This combination machine significantly expands the cutting capabilities, flexibility and processing speed for end users whilst reducing set-up time and material changeovers. For customers of the longstanding industry-leading Kerf models, the new Ultra will be a technological leap forward that marks the arrival of the next generation of profile cutting technology. With improved speed, precision, repeatability and cut quality than previous models, the new Ultra achieves these elevated parameters by introducing a brand new motion system and new linear slide technology that sits upon a brand new machine frame design.

With the new technologies on show at MACH, Kerf will be proud to discuss its partnership with Lincoln Electric at MACH. As an outright industry leader, the reputation of Lincoln Electric is unsurpassed in its field. At MACH, Lincoln representatives will also be on the stand to present the latest Linc-Cobot system for collaborative, robotic welding as well as demonstrating their structural steel solutions including the PythonX® automated cutting technology alongside the Zeman Baulemente automated beam welding technology.

With the new product arrivals that complete the product portfolio, Kerf is now the UK’s leading partner for all your profiling requirements. On Stand 330 in Hall 6, the diversity of high-quality cutting solutions combined with the welding and automation technology from Lincoln Electric will make the stand the ‘one-stop-shop’ for all your cutting and welding requirements.
