Ajax Machine Tools return to Southern Manufacturing

Returning to the show this year will be Ajax Machine Tools International, which relocated to Hampshire in 2002 under new ownership. Today it offers a wide range of machines including 3- and 4-axis vertical and horizontal machining centres and borers, 2-, 3- and 4-axis CNC slant bed lathes, surface, cylindrical and bench grinding machines, and bench, pillar and radial drilling machines. Additionally, the company supplies manual lathes and mills, drilling machines and grinders.

The firm is now recognised as one of Europe’s leading suppliers of machine tools, as apart from continuing to service a diverse range of British companies and institutions, it also exports to more than 40 countries. Both domestic and overseas sales are backed by a spares and technical support division. The company works hard to future-proof what it does by training apprentices and keeping up with modern manufacturing techniques. It holds a large range of stock machines, new and used, with CNC models having a Fagor, Siemens or Heidenhain control.
