Tungaloy and NTK Cutting Tools to merge

Tungaloy Corporation and NTK Cutting Tools will merge effective 1 January 2027, subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The combined organisation will operate under the Tungaloy corporate name, with NTK Cutting Tools retained as a dedicated division and brand.

The merger brings together Tungaloy’s broad cutting tool portfolio and expertise in grade development with NTK’s leadership in ceramic cutting tools and miniature tooling. As part of the integration, a new headquarters and advanced manufacturing facility will be established in the Nagoya area of Japan, increasing production capacity and supporting manufacturing, engineering, marketing and corporate functions.
