The Meltio Engine CNC Integration

Meltio’s metal additive manufacturing technology offers two metal AM solutions, M450 metal 3D Printer and Meltio Engine for easy integration with industrial motion hardware such as CNC machines and robotic cells.

The Meltio Engine is combined with wire and powder printing, the ideal CNC complement for near net shape manufacturing, repair and feature addition. The engine enables not only metal 3D printing of full density parts but also all in one additive manufacturing solution for repairing parts. Metal parts can be printed in full density to any size allowed by the system to which it is integrated, providing a high degree of capability and flexibility.

Recently The University of Central Lancashire acquired the first Meltio integrated HAAS CNC Integration machine and are currently completing initial testing phases and starting to develop applications internally and local businesses.
