Starrag set to demonstrate expertise at Seco event

The Seco Inspiration Through Innovation event has become a ‘must-attend’ on the UK manufacturing calendar. At the 2026 event on 25-26 February in Alcester, Starrag will return as an innovation partner, showcasing cutting-edge technology alongside technical partners in tools, workholding, CAM software, automation and measuring technology.
Highlighting Starrag’s participation will be the Bumotec 191neo turn-mill centre, performing a live demonstration of a complex medical turbine component. Nicknamed the ‘Swiss army knife’ for its versatility, the 191neo machines bars or blanks using seven axes, three spindles and up to 90 tools. It combine multiple processes that include turning, milling, grinding, polishing and even gear hobbing or diamond cutting on a single platform. Its ergonomic design, large glass panels, upgraded HMI interface and modular peripheral options ensure stable, efficient production with minimal operator intervention.
Attendees can experience this technologically advanced machine first-hand at SECO’s UK headquarters in Alcester.
