Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026: Driving innovation across UK industry

Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026 is set to host one of its most innovation-driven editions yet, as exhibitors unveil new technologies, sustainable materials and advanced digital capabilities designed to strengthen UK manufacturing and electronics supply chains.

As the UK continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for engineering excellence, innovation remains at the heart of the nation’s manufacturing success. Southern Manufacturing & Electronics has long been the place where that ingenuity is brought to life — a showcase for breakthrough materials, advanced production technologies and next-generation digital tools shaping the future of industry. This year’s exhibitor line-up reflects that spirit of progress, offering visitors an opportunity to discover the latest solutions driving productivity, sustainability and competitiveness across the sector.

Tecman, for instance, will showcase how Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can unify manufacturing and distribution data within a single ERP platform. Tecman’s specialists are set to demonstrate how Business Central enables streamlined processes, improved operational visibility and scalable business growth for engineering and manufacturing organisations.

On stand J200, Thame Workholding will showcase its Samchully JBM/JBH jaw boring open centre hydraulic chuck, said to be the world’s first power chuck with a built-in boring ring. This design enables machinists to bore soft jaws using only a standard Allen wrench, eliminating conventional boring rings, reducing set-up time by up to 90% and extending jaw life thanks to its ultra-fine 0.1 mm adjustment capability. The chuck is one of several innovations highlighted in Southern Manufacturing & Electronics’ Innovations Gallery for 2026.

The gallery also showcases one of the latest AI innovations impacting the manufacturing sector. Blue, an industrial AI for inspection, anomaly detection and quality control, can be witnessed on the Matta Labs stand, M180.

Elsewhere on the show floor, China Outsourcing, a long-established provider of offshore manufacturing and supply chain solutions, will be rebranding to Global Outsourcing. The new name reflects the company’s evolution from a country-specific sourcing specialist into an international manufacturing partner supporting customers across multiple countries.

With visitor registration now open, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026 promises an exceptional opportunity for engineers, designers and procurement professionals to discover breakthrough technologies, source new suppliers and build stronger, more sustainable production networks. The exhibition takes place from 3 to 5 February 2026 at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre.
