PP Control & Automation, a manufacturing firm based in Cheslyn Hay, is supporting Newport Girls’ High School (NGHS) in the national Young Enterprise competition. The company has mentored three student teams, including Tag-Along, which won the West Midlands final after earlier success at the Shropshire stage.

Tag-Along, a product designed to secure belongings to bags or pushchairs, has generated nearly £2,500 in sales. The team will represent the region in Manchester, with the potential to progress to the European finals in Athens this July.
