Oxley Developments successfully completes transformational journey with Sharing in Growth

Oxley Developments, a global specialist in advanced electronic and lighting systems for aerospace and defence, has completed its transformational journey with the Sharing in Growth (SiG) programme – achieving substantial growth, enhanced competitiveness and a stronger foundation for long-term success.

Since joining SiG in November 2017, Oxley has delivered a 25% increase in productivity, secured over £10 million in new business and expanded its reach into four new international markets. More than 100 employees have been upskilled, leadership capability has been significantly strengthened and lean manufacturing has been embedded across its Ulverston site – all contributing to a sharper, more resilient operation.

Backed by expert support in business strategy, operations, governance and people development, Oxley has embraced a culture of continuous improvement to drive real, measurable change.

“Oxley has a proud heritage and a clear vision for the future,” says Malcolm James, CEO of Sharing in Growth. “Their partnership with SiG demonstrates the power of investing in people and the capability to unlock performance and deliver sustainable growth. Oxley is a great example of how British manufacturing can lead the way with innovation, resilience and ambition – and we’re proud to have been part of their journey.”

Says Darren Cavan, Oxley CEO: “The future looks bright. We’re building on our traditions of self-sufficiency and innovation, underpinned by a clear growth strategy that empowers our people to meet the evolving needs of our global customers.”

Adds Jayne Moorby, Head of Marketing at Oxley: “When we joined SiG in 2017, business growth was static. The programme brought new energy and focus, equipping our team with the tools to improve processes while investing in leadership to create an empowered strategic team. This sustained partnership has delivered significant growth and transformational change, ensuring Oxley has a bright and secure future.”
