Optimax offers newly expanded range of Starrett profile projectors

Starrett now offers eight different models of standard profile projectors to suit any manufacturing company. Available now in the UK and EU through Optimax Imaging and Inspection, potential users can take advantage of vertical or horizontal versions for either floor or bench mounting.

The different models are named according to their type and screen size. Thus, the VB400 is a vertical projector with a 400 mm vertically mounted screen, while the HF600 is a horizontal projector with a screen size of 600 mm. To provide another example, the HS600 version is a horizontal side-bed optical projector. All side bed projectors are floor standing.

Based on this nomenclature, the instruments available are: the VB300 vertical bench-mounted profile projector with 300 mm screen; the VB400 vertical bench-mounted profile projector with 400 mm screen; the VF600 vertical bench-mounted profile projector with 600 mm screen; the HB400 horizontal bench-mounted profile projector with 400 mm screen and longer X axis and Y axis; the HD400 horizontal bench-mounted profile projector with 400 mm screen and longer X axis; the HF600 horizontal floor-standing profile projector with 600 mm screen; the HF750 horizontal floor-standing profile projector with 750 mm screen; the HS600 horizontal side-bed optical profile projector with 600 mm screen; and the HE400 horizontal economy version bench-mounted profile projector with 400 mm screen.
