OGP UK’s M7 debut headlines Carfulan Group’s appearance at Southern Manufacturing

Carfulan Group, which achieved a record £22.3 million year in 2025, will be showcasing its five specialist technologies on Stand E230 at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2026 (Farnborough, 3-5 February). Set to take the main spotlight is the debut of OGP UK’s SmartScope M7, a high-precision, multi-sensor dimensional metrology system with advanced optics and intellicentric virtual zoom technology.

Southern Manufacturing will be the first of seven major exhibitions the Derbyshire-based business is planning to attend between now and the end of June, as it looks to raise awareness of the latest 3D Stratasys printing solutions (SYS Systems), turned part measurement (VICIVISION UK), optical measurement (Metrios UK), tool presetting (ZOLLER UK) and data collection software (Prolink). The schedule includes appearances at ‘Seco Inspiration Through Innovation’, the Dental Technology Showcase, the National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference and MACH 2026, the UK’s largest industrial show.

“There’s a huge appetite from industry to gain greater quality control and increased productivity, and our technologies can help businesses achieve these aspirations,” says Lewis Hearne, Group Marketing Manager at Carfulan Group. “Last year saw us grow across all our solutions and 17% as a group, which is a fantastic performance. This is just the start. We now want to amplify our message and that’s why we’ve committed to our biggest event schedule ever, beginning with Southern Manufacturing in February.”

He continues: “Often visitors to events don’t understand that we offer multiple solutions and technologies from across our group and we’re trying to change that. This more proactive approach puts us face-to-face with manufacturers, engineers and decision-makers. It gives us the chance to have important, practical conversations about their projects and where we can offer support to help them measure parts more accurately, design more freely and manufacture more efficiently.”

Run by brothers Chris and Matt Fulton, Carfulan Group will bring technology and technical experts from OGP UK, SYS Systems, ZOLLER UK, VICIVISION UK and Metrios UK together in one place at Southern Manufacturing. Live demonstrations will run across the three days, with visitors able to get their hands on a selection of parts produced using the new Stratasys P3 Silicone 25a material.

Other highlights include access to VICIVISION’s M306 2D digital optical measuring machine for turned or cylindrical components, high-speed optical metrology from the Metrios Cross and the ZOLLER Smile range for professional tool presetting and measurement.

Lewis concludes: “From advanced metrology and tool management to automated inspection and smart manufacturing systems, our stand is the place to see proven technologies shaping the future of precision manufacturing. We want visitors to drop by, see what’s new at Carfulan this year and have an open conversation about their manufacturing challenges. Whether it’s ideas, problems or plans for 2026, we’re here to help get things moving and provide a tailored solution.”
