New solid-carbide circular milling cutters from Horn

Cutting tool manufacturer Horn has expanded its range of solid-carbide cutters for circular interpolation milling. The DC circular milling system is suited to grooving, parting-off and threading operations. Unlike tools with indexable inserts, the cutters feature a solid-carbide monoblock construction, offering greater milling depth – particularly when grooving or machining small internal threads.

Now introduced as standard grades are RC25 and RC45 carbide types, suitable for a wide variety of materials and applications. Enhanced macro and micro geometries further improve milling performance.
