MMC Hardmetal UK at MACH 2026: An all-round tooling and service-oriented experience

MMC Hardmetal UK will have a strong presence at this year’s MACH exhibition (NEC Birmingham, 20-24 April) with a large booth in Hall 20, stand 461. Visitors will find the latest generation of high-tech tooling from Mitsubishi Materials and this year, a specially dedicated section. The ‘Circular Economy’ area will highlight exciting new areas of service and sustainability, as well as advanced production capabilities in Europe.

Mitsubishi Materials is evolving into a full-service provider, offering a complete range of tooling solutions, from original manufacturing and sales, through to custom-made tools, a reconditioning service and comprehensive aftersales support.

A particular highlight will be the importance of material recycling and the latest innovative recycling programme, which has been accelerated by the recent addition of the company H.C. Starck, a global specialist in recycling services, to the Mitsubishi Materials Group.

Another key part will be the demonstration of Mitsubishi Materials’ reconditioning and tailored tool design capabilities in Europe. With the acquisition of U.F.P. S.r.l. in Italy, one of Europe’s largest and most well-established providers of reconditioning services and customised cutting tools, Mitsubishi Materials will significantly reduce response and delivery times for European customers in the increasingly key area of reconditioning existing cutting tools.

Also of course, a wide array of the latest tooling will be on display, together with application experts to answer any questions. New highlights, such as the small diameter VQ long neck series, will be on show to emphasise the extreme precision required for manufacturing such small diameter end mills. A further exhibit will be the latest solid-carbide drills, and the new exchangeable-head DXAS drills for the efficient drilling of steel and cast iron.

Indexable insert milling tools and bodies highlighting next-generation technology in carbide substrates, state-or-the-art geometries and advanced coatings will also be prominently displayed. The latest innovative XB series of indexable inserts small parts applications will be strongly featured on contemporary style tooling stands.
