Mitsubishi Materials expands reconditioning services in Europe

MMC Hardmetal Europe Holdings (MHE), part of Mitsubishi Materials, has acquired UFP srl, a provider of tool reconditioning and custom tool solutions. The acquisition strengthens MHE’s European capabilities, improving service proximity, reducing lead times and offering more cost-effective, sustainable cutting tool solutions.

UFP, with two facilities in Italy, serves key industries that include aerospace and automotive. The move supports Mitsubishi’s goal of establishing a modern European service hub and accelerating its shift toward a circular economy through localised, efficient operations.
