Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has appointed Chris Neale as its new Business Manager for Wiltshire and the Home Counties. This position became vacant following the recent internal promotion of incumbent, Richard Wilson, to the role of sales director in November 2024. To ensure continuity, Wilson will be on hand to provide mentoring advice and support to Neale during what is expected to be a short familiarisation and transition period.

Apprentice-trained and time served engineer, Neale joined Mills CNC in 2017 and, over the past eight years, has worked in a number of different roles. These include three years working on the Mills CNC Technical Helpdesk and three years providing technical support to customers investing in the company’s SYNERGi automation systems. His most recent position was Customer Support Manager, which he occupied from 2022 until 2024.

Neale brings with him a wealth of invaluable experience and expertise gained from dealing with customers, providing them with engineering and service assistance on a daily basis to help maintain the productivity and efficiency of their machining operations.

The Wiltshire and Home Counties region is pivotal to Mills CNC’s continued success. Employing the right person with the right skill set to help facilitate organic growth with existing customers, and develop business opportunities with new customers, is a commercial imperative.

Says Neale: “Mills is a progressive company that always puts its customers first. The depth, breadth and technical excellence of the company’s machine tool and automation systems portfolio is second to none and its pre- and after-sales services are the best in the business. I’m delighted to be joining such a successful sales operation and look forward to making a positive contribution to Mills CNC’s sales performance.”
