Yamazaki Mazak is set to host an open house event dedicated to helping the UK’s manufacturing community take the next step in streamlining production processes, boosting productivity and future-proofing operations. Taking place on 18-20 November at Mazak’s European Technology Centre in Worcester, the event will focus on how a strong partnership between the machine manufacturer and user, combined with the latest advanced machine technologies, smart automation solutions and digital integration, can help customers become both more efficient and more competitive.

For the first time, visitors to the open house will experience the all-new Mazak Solutions Centre, an innovation hub that made its debut at the recent EMO 2025 exhibition in Hanover, Germany, offering live demonstrations and an expert view into Mazak’s latest digital and service-driven technologies.

Attendees can expect to see 19 different machine tools and laser processing machines in operation, many of which will be fully integrated with a range of automation solutions – from unattended robotised machine tending cells to Mazak’s newest automated Multi-Pallet Pool (MPP) transfer systems.

Following recent improvements and significant investment in the company’s European manufacturing plant, customers will also be able to see firsthand the latest models being designed, manufactured, built and tested in the UK factory, including the new Integrex j-200S Neo.

Marking a major milestone, this will be the first Integrex machine ever manufactured outside Japan. Engineered specifically for European users, Mazak says it delivers high productivity for complex, high-mix/low-volume batch work, all at a competitive price point.

In another UK first, visitors will be able to preview the next generation of Mazak’s CV5-500 five-axis machining centre, alongside a new CV5-700 model with increased tool and workpiece capacity. The new models benefit from an optimised machine structure to enhance their static and dynamic rigidity, resulting in greater performance, accuracy and thermal stability. The machines also now feature the Mazatrol SmoothAi control.

Laser users will also find plenty of innovation on offer at the event, including the latest tube and pipe laser technology, as well as two automated 2D fibre laser machines performing live-cutting demonstrations in Mazak’s sheet metal department.

Customers can expect to see further live cutting across a wide selection of CNC turning, vertical machining and five-axis machining centres throughout the event, as well as joining group tours of both Mazak’s factory and the latest technology highlights – including auto gear manufacturing, friction stir welding and Mazak’s automation solutions.

Jason Butler, Sales Director at Yamazaki Mazak UK, says: “This event is set to be a fantastic showcase of the very best UK-made machine tools, alongside a comprehensive range of connected technologies, support services and industry partners. Whether you’re a long-term Mazak customer or are a potential new user keen to find out more, I’m confident you’ll come away from the event with a clear answer as to how Mazak can help you take the next step towards better productivity and future-ready operations.”
