Mazak launches CP-450 pallet automation

Yamazaki Mazak has launched its CP-450, a fully integrated 12-pallet automation solution to help manufacturers maximise the value from their Mazak machine investment through dependable unattended production.

Developed for selected Mazak machining centres, including CV5-500, CV5-700, VCN-500, VCN-600 and Variaxis C-600 models, the CP-450 extends machine productivity beyond attended operation while reducing the complexity traditionally associated with automation projects.

Designed for high-mix, low-to-medium volume production environments, the system supports manufacturers looking to increase spindle utilisation, create additional manufacturing capacity and reduce dependence on skilled labour without introducing a stand-alone automation control system.
