MAPAL launches EA-Performance-System for fine-boring applications

MAPAL has launched its EA-Performance-System, bringing simplified, high-precision fine boring to diameters from 10 to 19 mm.
The system uses a single-adjustment screw for diameter setting, combined with an integrated back taper, reducing setting time and potential operator error. A newly developed indexable insert and matching clamping jaw provide positive locking, repeatable positioning and stable fixation under machining loads.
Designed for micrometre-precise adjustment, the system targets high-precision fit and bearing bores in components including transmission housings, cylinders, crankshafts and camshafts.
