New opportunities underpin investment at Bridgnorth Aluminium

New opportunities in underfloor heating and cooling applications for the automotive and datacentre markets has kickstarted the latest capital equipment investment from Bridgnorth Aluminium (BAL). The company is installing a refurbished £600,000 Schmutz line, giving BAL an in-house capability for finishing thinner gauge materials.

According to BAL, the recent capital equipment investments position the company as a world leader in flat rolled aluminium coils for lithography, packaging, cooling and heating applications, as well as the electrification and data markets.

Commercial Director Adrian Musgrave says: “Every penny we spend futureproofs our factory in Shropshire and reinforces our commitment to remaining the UK’s last remaining producer of flat rolled aluminium coils.”
