DMG Mori unveils CTX 450 4A universal turning centre

DMG Mori is expanding its universal turning centre line up with the new CTX 450 4A, offering complete six-sided machining. With up to 36 tool positions across two spindles and turrets, the machine ensures maximum flexibility.

Notably, the machine’s rigid design, integrated cooling and Magnescale position systems guarantee 6 µm accuracy. The compact 10.8 m² universal turning centre handles workpieces up to 430 x 700 mm diameter, with powerful ISM spindles for standard and heavy-duty operations.

GREENMODE technology boosts sustainability, reducing energy use by over 30% via low-friction guides, efficient cooling, adaptive lubricant flow and air-leakage monitoring. DMG Mori says the CTX 450 4A delivers precision, performance and future-ready, efficient production.
