DK Holdings Ltd, an ISO-certified manufacturer of precision diamond tooling, has further enhanced its in-house engineering capabilities with the addition of a new Harrison Alpha 1400XS CNC/manual combination lathe. The investment is part of the company’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its machining of highly accurate, precision-engineered components, including bespoke and small to medium batch production.

The Alpha 1400XS offers the flexibility of manual, conversational and fully automated CNC operation, enabling the production team to machine complex parts using in-house CADCAM programming. This capability makes the investment suitable for low-volume or specialist work where adaptability and repeatability are key.

DK Holdings’ Sales & Marketing Director, John Emptage, says: “The new lathe represents our commitment to invest continuously in state-of-the-art machinery, allowing us the flexibility to machine precision bespoke products and small-to-medium batch work for our customers across a wide range of sectors. Our team has built a strong reputation for quality and performance in precision diamond tooling, and this new lathe enhances our ability to deliver high-accuracy machined components that support and complement our tooling range.”

The new lathe is now fully operational at the company’s ISO-certified facility in Kent, and will support increased demand for tailored engineering solutions from both UK and international customers.
