DaceCrown, a designer and manufacturer of equipment to fast-paced, regulated industries that include the drinks sector, has installed a new Haas Mini Mill featuring a fourth axis at its Birmingham facility. The strategic investment reinforces DaceCrown’s commitment to precision engineering, agile production and scalable support for its UK manufacturing network.

The Haas Mini Mill’s compact design and fourth-axis functionality enable multi-face machining in a single set up, subsequently streamlining operations, improving repeatability and supporting tighter tolerances for complex components. This upgrade empowers DaceCrown to deliver faster prototyping, small-batch runs and technical validation across bottling, medical and industrial applications.

Notably, the new capability complements DaceCrown’s recent expansion into premium gin bottling and its ongoing workshop upgrades, including enhanced machine guarding and crevice sealing protocols. Together, the company says these initiatives strengthen its reputation for operational excellence and forward-thinking innovation.
