CoroDrill® DE10: High-volume, easy hole-making solution

Sandvik Coromant has completed its CoroDrill DE10 range with two new geometries, -M5F and -M5C, expanding versatility for high-volume short-hole drilling across materials.

The DE1o is an exchangeable-tip drill with a pre-tension interface enabling fast tip changes, high productivity and broad application across mixed materials. Mikael Carlsson notes the added geometries extend application coverage while preserving plug-and-play ease of use.

The -M5F enables flat-bottom holes and stepped-hole operations for complex components, while -M5C is optimised for cast iron with reinforced corners and improved wear resistance via GC3334. Benefits include lower cost per hole, reduced CO2 emissions, higher speeds and longer tool life.
