Circular economy a key theme of AMB 2026

Sustainability, digitalisation and automation will be central themes at AMB 2026, which takes place in Stuttgart from 15 to 19 September 2026. Held under the banner ‘Where Metal Comes Alive’, the exhibition will fill all 10 halls with the latest machine tools, manufacturing technologies and production solutions.

A major focus will be the circular economy, with exhibitors demonstrating practical approaches to recycling, remanufacturing and resource efficiency. Real-world applications will show how manufacturers can reduce material waste and improve sustainability without compromising productivity.

Digitalisation will also feature strongly with artificial intelligence taking a leading role. Visitors will be able to explore how AI is helping manufacturers optimise production.

Automation completes the trio of headline themes. Collaborative technologies, advanced robotics and integrated production systems will illustrate how manufacturers can increase efficiency while addressing labour shortages and ever-changing production requirements.

Alongside the exhibition, AMB 2026 will offer a programme of expert presentations and technical discussions, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the latest industry developments and exchange ideas with specialists from across the manufacturing sector.
