Brandauer saves £50,000 on energy costs to fund manufacturing expansion

Brandauer, one of Birmingham’s oldest manufacturers (founded 164 years ago and now specialising in precision metal stamping), has cut its energy costs by working with energy consultancy Greenfields Energy.
The company switched to a fixed electricity contract and a cheaper gas deal, generating over £50,000 in savings. Those savings have already been reinvested into upgrading production, including an automated assembly line and improved wire EDM (electrical discharge machining) capability. The expansion is aimed at helping the business win more orders across automotive, construction, electrification and medical markets in the UK and overseas, including the EU, China and the Middle East.
